Memorial Day

We had a fun Memorial Day this year with Grandma and Grandpa Miller, the Jaussi's, and the Fox's. We spent most of the day down at Liberty Park where we had a picnic, fed the ducks, and played at the swing sets and splash park. Only one kid fell in the pond, I was pretty disappointed about that.

North Star Academy 1st Grade Author Contest

All of the 1st graders were required to write a short story and illustrate it. Megan received the bronze medal for best short story. They had to read their story in front of the class and all of the parents and families. Megan did an awesome job.

Discipline

This is what Tara will do if the if you don't listen. It's amazing what damage a quick backhand slap can do. Actually, Britney did a swan dive and face planted off of a cement patio to a concrete sidewalk below. She lost a few skin cells and probably a few brain cells as well. I'm just glad it wasn't on my watch.
