We took the kids up skiing at Alta on Monday for the holiday, Ashley, Megan, and Kaitlyn to be precise. We left Britney with Grandma Davenport. All three did really good. We put an "edgie wedgie" on Kaitlyn to help her keep her skies together. She did fine, but got tired in the afternoon. She took one good spill, of the yard sale variety (that's when you lose both skis and your equipment is strewn everywhere like a yard sale). She cried hard and was pretty much done after that. Even on the way home Kaitlyn said she hated skiing. We'll have to get her more hot chocolate as motivation.
It was really windy up there and there was hail every so often. It wasn't the best ski day we've every had, but it was nice to get the girls up there.

Nothing like a yard sale to make you hate skiing.
What a great family activity to do together. Expensive but fun none the less. I had fun with Brit and the boys. Too cold for me.
Looks like fun! Those girls are brave.
