We spent last week in St. George prior to Father's Day. It has been an interesting summer in Utah so far. Last weekend was the last weekend to go snow skiing. We had late snow in May and it has rained a ton in June. St. George was in the 80's, but it was fairly windy. We went down and saw Tarzan the play and Tuacahn theatre, an outdoor amphitheater in Snow Canyon. The play was okay at best. Jason and Nicole brought down their boat. We were planning on spending lots of time on that, but it was so windy we only got out one day. Their trailer broke down on the way back to SLC and they had to leave the boat and trailer in Cedar City to get fixed. We are really unlucky with them when it comes to their boat. We went to the turtle reserve and climbed on the rocks and we also went to the Snow Canyon sand dunes. There was lots of swimming in the pool and hot tub. Fun trip.
Megan was excited to try water skiing, but it was quite a fearful experience when she got up. Look at her face in the picture below.
Ashley was afraid from the begining to the end, but she tried it out. They could easily do this if they wanted to.
Tara got up pretty easily and skiing for a while.
I wakeboarded instead of skiing, easier on the arms.
The was a little rock island out in the lake so we swam and jumped off of it. This is as high as Ashley would go.
Playing in the sand at Snow Canyon.
Kaitlyn thought it was cool to be buried alive like in the Old West.
The turle preserve up above St. George.
The pool at Lance's house. We did this everyday three or four times a day.
Britney preferred the "hot tub" which was also her favorite phrase of the week.
