Since the 4th of July is on a Sunday this year, we in Utah celebrate it on the 3rd. We went to see the hot air ballon race in Provo at the crack of 6am. Most of the balloons inflated, but it was too windy for them to take off. Total waste of good sleep time, but the girls thought it was cool. I took the girls home for a nap while Tara spent the day Twilighting and shopping. We went to the Riverton fair in the afternoon and later that night we went to Tiffany and Nate's house for food, games, and fireworks. Here's the pics of the festivities.

I think it is awesome that the festivities were on Saturday. Gavin asked what we were going to do for the 4th and I said, "go to church." Needless to say that wasn't the response that he was hoping for!
